As the Depression Era ended in the 1930s, a group of concerned businessmen joined together to form Citizens Insurance Group to ensure that their families, their friends and their businesses would never experience again the insecurities that many Americans endured during the deepest and longest economic downturn in American history. The Citizens Insurance Group was founded so that this community could continue to work, build and grow knowing that there was a secure and supportive insurance network that would protect their cherished investments.
